Knowledge Quest Academy (KQA)

Knowledge Quest Academy (KQA) - A computer-based instructional (CBI) model where the day is divided into 2 or 3 sessions running from 240 to 300 minutes and can include a night session. Teachers and staff are employed by KQA. This approach changes the school day experience while still offering core content, credit recovery, academic achievement, behavioral management and critical wrap-around services, including life skills and career path guidance.

Our Mission

Knowledge Quest Academy will provide a caring, attentive environment that is conducive to learning. We will teach students to continually assess their strengths and build on their successes. Our goal is to build a balance between Character, Body and Mind.

Who do we serve? 

Our students traditionally present themselves with a wide range of issues. Their spiraling failures ultimately end up defining them in society as at-risk. A majority of our students arrive to us with a victim mentality well entrenched. Having never experienced any long time success in the public school system it seems to be a natural progression for our students to blame others for their situation. Along with the victim mentality is often a visible disdain for authority and structure. All of these conditions are understood by Knowledge Quest Academy as an expected outcome after experiencing recidivist failure in the traditional education model. 

Our Curriculum

Our online curriculum is accepted by accredited institutions nationwide and serves as the primary source for core subject area instruction and assessments. Students’ online experience is interrupted only for delivery of wrap-around services, which include counseling and referral. Our standard behavioral model is infused, and our signature quality implementation is included.
